hey class. haven't posted here in awhile but here i am. again.

this is kinda hard to post but i'll try. thing is, uh.

I am thinking of having a BBQ at my house on the 10th of July which is a Friday which is not so coincidentaly one day before my birthday (which is on the 11th of July). i know it's like 2 months away and all but i wanna book the pit soon so people don't book it.

i mean, hey, July is a real good month and all, and the 11th is also especially special so the pit was probably booked last year already so people might just be flocking to book it on the 10th.

so yeah i wanna book it soon. either that or it's cause my mom does. but yeah it's a Friday, probably come after school to my place? and it's just after blocks so we need a break too yeah? haha.

anyway let me know k? used the blog cause i am seriously a deprived kid with only 300 free smses a month that i usually max out in 2 weeks. hopefully you guys do come to the blog too.

hey you guys,

next week is test week as well as competition week for most ccas.

volleyball will be playing two matches, on monday and wednesday.

choir will be having their syf on tuesday.

chinese orchestra will be having their syf on wednesday.

softball will be playing vj on wednesday.

band will be having syf on friday.

so this kind of got me thinking about everything, and i started to feel kind of helpless.

but then i watched this video, and things kind of seemed more optimistic.

hope it'll help everyone's who's feeling a little jumpy this week!

Hello everyone, I KNOW everyone who was at the campfire tonight had loads of fun :) I did! Everything was a blast! :) A pity our junior class didn't get chosen for the flag, because I think it's really pretty! I'm very eggcited for angel and mortal, because I believe I have good angel and mortals!! I'm so happy I stayed for the campfire, because that's how I got to know many of the class guys better! Especially at Serene Centre! For all those who didn't go, let's keep whatever that happened at Serene a secret, before my reputation goes down HAHA!

Heyheyhey people!

Um i'm thinking that we should book a chalet in Jan instead as it's like less than 100 bucks per night.

It's like only 96 bucks per night for the duplex in Costa Sands Pasir Ris. Though I think there isn't a bbq pit there so that might be a downside hmm. The downtown east chalets have bbq pit but it's only 1 story if i'm not wrong and including bbq pit it'll be 98 bucks.

Yulei cannot make it on the 28th.

i was visiting this blog, and to my utmost surprise, it has a new blogskin! absolutely scintillating.

well of course, the last blog skin was a sheer work of brilliance, with the little pictures on the side vividly capturing the memories of our history as a class, the full 8 months of them. but i mean, it was kinda cramped wasn't it. thus the endless weeks of debating as to whether a new blog skin would be warranted.

and the weeks of debating has finally led to the advent of a new blog skin for our class blog, the unparalleled innovation as a result of minutes, no, tens of minutes of hard work. and this is the product, a more open feel to our blog, albiet the lack of a proper picture at the top of the page.

anyway tomorrow we're having class outing at my house. so i thought i'll let you guys know the details.

we're leaving together after celebrations (whenever that ends). so we will be having lunch at my house. should be some takeaway stuff or delivery stuff. whatever we do at my house can decide tomorrow.

but for those who are not going after school, i have to let you all know how to go.

1) those whose parents are sending

my address is 1 Youngberg Terrace, Avon Park. it's somewhere further up from Potong Pasir, land of opposition Chiam. it's just some ulu place which just means "cut sand" in malay. actually it's not really that ulu like Choa Chu Kang, but it's still relatively unknown.

but anyway. yes. for those whose parents are sending, that is the add. so reach there at about 12noon or so? or later is fine. cause seriously, celebrations are gonna drag i think.

2) those who are taking bus from school

151 or 154 opposite school. both will take you to St Andrews JC. if you miss the bus stop, GG.

after you alight, make your way to Potong Pasir MRT. sure can find. then when you reach Potong Pasir MRT station, don't go in. take any bus except for 142. take that for like 3 stops. as in alight on the 3rd stop. that should be the Woodleigh station that didn't open cause ~~the govt didn't want to~~ it's cost efficient. my place's just round the corner

3) those taking any mode of transport other than bus and parent's car

this probably means taxi or MRT.

taxi --> tell the taxi driver my address

MRT --> take to Potong Pasir MRT. then exit by the exit called C. i think it's exit C. but just to be sure. when you face all the ticket machines, turn left and walk straight. you'll see two more exits. take the exit on the left. that's the exit that'll lead you to the bus stop i mentioned in 2. from there on, follow instructions in point 2

anyway. there'll be a swimming pool, table tennis table, squash court, basketball half-court, as well as a tennis court. so lots of stuff to do if you guys don't play cards.

so bring what you have to bring, esp a change of clothes just in case.

Hey you guys, the holidays are almost over (ohmygod I KNOW, right?) and I was feeling so emo about it that I painted my nails dark blue. I had to prove my point okay.
Anyway, just hope that these pictures cheer up those who aren't studying for the history test and those who aren't doing homework because they're free enough to check out this thing - or whoever is free enough to check this for that matter. It's okay if you don't get it. I don't think I do either. It's the school blues. See you in school tomorrow!

Hi guys :)

There's an event coming up this Saturday :D 黄城夜韵 and Mell Yeo's birthday! (hint hint)

Anyway, the tickets should be with either Marie or Liu Zhen. Performance details are ... its at Victoria Theatre, house opens at 7:30, the actual performance starts at 7:45. It should end around 9:30 to 10:00pm (will confirm), there's a 15 minute interval in between. Victoria Theatre is here, and can be accessed from either City Hall MRT or Raffles Place MRT. Personally I think that Raffles Place MRT is nearer, though finding the correct exit may be a bit confusing. June, Yu Lei and I will be involved (灯光化妆 and 摄影 respectively), so lend your utmost support, haha :)

We welcome Zhen Rui and Jing Yu! And bid farewell to Zhenyang and Jiang Wei (though Jiang Wei's still involved in 黄城) Some random photos ~~

Hey you guys! It's been a long time since anyone has updated our blog. Here're a few videos and photos to help you recollect our pre-stressful days in school!

02 it's orientation once again and on monday! you'll have wet games, even more games, song and dance and then the highly anticipated Faculty Dance Competition at the Post-Orientation Party! Orientation activities will be happening from 10am after which lessons will end and O2 begins! Activities are from 10am till late in the evening around 9pm, so please remember to bring these items for the day:

> Sandals for wet games (no slippers allowed!)
> Change of clothes for wet games (dark shirt for girls)
> Change of clothes for POP!
> Faculty tee

GUYS DON'T PON POP OKAY, let's all go there and do our (spasming-like) hand locking and pwn the other facs upside down :) and most importantly, to enjoy ourselves la!

03 Dear C1 Artemisians, Founder's Day is coming up on 20th March 2008 and this year, all C1 students will be involved in CIP by faculties. Do you remember the time you went for the Artemis Faculty CIP? You will be doing what you did for that weekend in January but for different units in Lengkok Bahru. However this time, as Founder's Day is during the block test week for C2 students, the Fac Comm will require your help in organising the CIP to make this round a success.

We are looking for:
1) 22 Unit ICs (to oversee the work in each unit allocated to your class)
2) 2 Overall ICs (overall organisers with your ECs)
NOTE: We will be selecting 2 unit i/cs per class. The 2 overall i/cs will be selected from the pool of applicants and will not be unit i/cs. Anyone is welcome to apply!

If you are interested to help out a Unit IC or an Overall IC, please do fill in the forms that will be distributed to you and pass them back to any faculty committee member by 25th Feb 2008, Monday.

Hey everyone. Like FINALLY I am able to log in and upload all the nonsense that we've been up to for the past month. Tomorrow is posting day for the JAE people, and I'd just like to say that no matter where everyone is posted, these two months - or whatever time we've had together - has honestly been awesome. UPDATES

01 fac dance prac tomorrow at 4pm at audi basement. it's just individual tuition for our class, so do try to be there! fac dance competition is on 25th feb if i'm not wrong. also, the SEKRET MANUAL TO THE ARTEMIS FAC DANCE is with marie hahaha, ask her if you desperately want to mug the dance steps religiously every night. alternatively, go here

02 CNY celebrations on the 6th, wednesday! kudos to the bench banner and stall committee for working hard on their respective parts! for our stall, there's been a change in plans; we'll only be selling fried mars bars as baking fortune cookies turned out to be a little harder than expected, but the good thing's that people can choose from 4 sorts of chocolate that they would like fried! sinful, but oh very yummy i would expect ;) ALSO, WILL NEED PUBLICITY IDEAS FOR THE 6TH ITSELF-- we could come up with some catchy slogan and write it out on some huge board. or maybe dress someone up as cai shen ye and make him go around promoting our stall hee hee. will discuss this tomorrow in class!

03 VALENTINE'S DAY IS COMING UP, and if i'm not wrong it's a tradition for the guys to do something for the class girls.. wink wink. also, if you would like to surprise your friends from other schools with a flower, http://smiles.sg/
